Comunication Oblivion
Something very strange, and rather cool happened yesterday.
i was at church, and writing a letter to John during the sermon (on account that i had heard basically the same thing the day before at a wedding). in my letter to john i was describing a group of friends. for about a year there was me, and three guys, and we were really close friends.
some stuff happened with one of them, another moved back to America, and the third.. well, the thirds still a friend.
anyway. i told the first guy that i needed time to sort out what was going on. to process what happened. this happened in june last year.
and so, he was good, he actually gave me time.
i got over it. i prayed about it.
i opened up and told a few people (which always seems to help) (actually, ive told more than a few people now) (hmm)
i forgave him, i forgave myself.
i learnt and grew from the situation.
i just neglected to tell him any of this.
and so, he still thought he was in my "bad books", and so, when ever i tried to talk to him, just in group conversation, he would always go quiet and find some excuse to leave.
anyway, we were walking home from church yesterday, him, daniel (who was one of the other guys) and myself. and we were kinda playing. well daniel and i were. and he (that is not daniel, the other guy who im not naming, on account that one or two of you may actually know who he is) said something offhand about being in my "bad books". i turned to him and replied
"no, your not in my bad books, you havent been for several months now".
he seemed suprised.
i think things are getting on the ok track now.
i guess i dont communicate very well. not in person atleast.
this will be something i need to work on, if i am going to make any relationship work.
