i cant be bothered thinking of a title.
im tired.
thats probably an understatement if ever i heard one.
i got very little sleep last night, maybe an hour and a half, a little more. got up at 1am for work. my ruitine is getting pretty good, so it only takes me 10 or 15 minutes to get ready. get up, get dressed, put bread in toaster, put stuff on toast... you get the point.
i was outside at quater past this morning.
it was a brilliant night to sit outside. it was very mild, and the wind had a slightly cooler tinge to it. there was lighting to my left, and i could spy some stars above me between the fast moving clouds, which were a lighter shade of dark.
there was silence, but not complete. the wind rustleing the leaves of the trees gave a pleasant voice to the dark night.
i was happy.
stan over slept. he arrived at about 25 to 2, 10 minutes or so later than usual. i wasnt too worried.
work was horrible. it was packed, as in, the truck has a possible space for 10 pallets. we had 10 pallets. all big pallets too. it was hot, and humid, and there was so much stuff, and i was exhausted, and wanted to go to sleep, and felt like passing out. my energy had been sapped from me. i pottered around, breaking down pallets of things delivered, rearranging them on other pallets. 16 big boxes of lettuce, 12 of bananas, 8 20kg bags of juice carrots. i was ready to practically die when stan arrived back from doing the rounds and buying more stuff.
but it wasnt over yet.
i still continued moving heavy things for two more hours. by the end of it, trying to rearrange 8 20kg bags of juice carrots, and 10 10kg bags of potatoes, i had almost completely gone mad. i was tlaking to myself. i was kicking the poor carrots. i was tired, i was trying not to cry out of frustration. i just really wanted to go home and sleep. i think stan rather prudently avoided me during that time. i was very irritable.
finally it was finished. we left market a lot later than usual. 7:30! as opposed to leaving between 5:30-6:30.
the deliveries were alright. it rained when we got to croydon, which made life a little cooler. and then it stopped raining, and the sun came out. can anyone say humid. blegh.
had pankakes for breakfast at stans house. his wife hetty used to be a profession camp cook, and she is very good at it. and she makes us brekky each day.
actually, for anyone whos interested, ive actually been eating again. i know, shock horror! im trying.. well.. trying to try to change the mindsets in my head and be smart about it... i... i dont know if its working that much. but, im slowly getting there.
on the radio, on 774 ABC local am, they mentioned something which made me listen more intently. something about australians getting a gong or something or other. but the mention of community made my head start. somone mentioned that relationships and community should be the most important thing (in relation to these awards thing). more important than international acclaim, but what your friends, family and community think of you.
a beautoful arrow that made me realise, that all of that "community is important" stuff we learnt in yits isnt just important to christians. but to everyone.
why cant everyone see that though?
guys. somehow my mind always seems to wander back to them. why is it that any guy i seem to like lives too far away. or maybe its just new friend crush... i mean, can you really like someone you have never met?
oh this is stupid.. grr.. grr to guys! grr to me...
dojwe weflkje fdklff
and thats about all i have to say on that matter...
