Age is no Barrier.
I think that hanging out with too many extroverts tires me out.
or maybe, its just with certian extroverts.
i went out with bec and Jess yesterday.
we went and saw Brokeback Mountain in the morning. its a sad movie. no one was happy. and no one was happy because of the two guys relationship with each other. really, the fact that they were in a gay relationship didnt bother me. (maybe it should). but it was the fact that their relationship made everything else dysfuntional. their wives, their children.
i dont often analyse movies (except for GATTACA... but that wasnt my fault!), and so, going to see a movie with two people who want to analyse it is... strange.
the movie ended well... there was closure. and the daughter was happy.
i have decided that i probably never will grow up. i mean, physically yes. maybe emotionally. but there will always be this child within me. the one who dances with joy in the wind. the one who gets excited at the thought of dress ups.
the one who gets those looks from my aunty, the condemning ones. for being able to express joy in the simple things in life.
should i have to grow up...?
i hope not...
sometimes i feel so small. so insignificant. so childish. so afraid. so cowardly.
*sigh*
Never grow up Sam...the loss of the child that dances with joy is the sign that a person is dying inside...keep your soul alive and let the winds of life inspire your dance, then offer that dance to the creator of the wind...woah...profound, and quite possibly nonsensical..yay
