A Deacon to the Deacons

i am sitting here with this page open, and i am lost for words as to what to say. somehow the appeal of blogging has subsided, unless i am in a particulary emo mood and then all you, my dearly loved avid blog read, gets is my emo babble.
i feel that i lack that certian spark that some other bloggers have, to be able to produce the wonderful blogs purely about their days.

did any happen to notice the wonderful couple of days we have had? it has truely felt like the beginning of spring, even though its still the middle of winter. its the sunshine, the flowers, everything smells like spring.
i was waiting outside the other day in the early am (must have been around 1:50am), munching on an apple and just observing the wonderful expense of sky. its really very calm outside at that time. the stars are amazing. it reminds me that God is such a wonderful God. a creator, a protector.

i was reading John 15 this morning, and there were a couple passages that really stood out to me. the constant call the remain in Him.

(4) "Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself;
it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
(5)"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I
in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

abide in Me. live in My love. i am continually asking to understand more of God. more of who He is. to accept and live in His love.

this reminds me of a class we had in creative living, or something last year. it was definatly Warwick who took it. about seeking to remain in God.

(9)"As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
(10)If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed
my Father's commands and remain in his love. (11) I have told you this so that
my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. (12) My command is this:
Love each other as I have loved you. (13) Greater love has no one than this,
that he lay down his life for his friends."
