Love

i am... crazily tired as i write this.
i have just come back from Kidz Klub, the first week back, and it was crazy! the kids were crazy! not concentrating, and talking A LOT! *chuckles*

anyway, by the end of the evening, i had decided to ask the kiddies what they think love is.
these are some of the answers.

> Love is love.
> you show it by hugging, and kissing.
> you love the person you want to marry, and you have S.E.X. with them...
> love isnt just for boys, its for food and pets too.
> its where you want to help them.
> you have to tell people you love them.
> its when two people love each other more than they love themsleves.

and then i asked the leaders later, and got the more Christianese answers.
> Jesus
> essentially the essence of God.
> a warm fuzzy feeling.
> personal sacrifice.
> 1 Corinthians 13... you know the one. love is patient, love is kind. etc...
> Its beautiful!
> its a verb, a doing, being or feeling word.
> what Sam does to Steve (i can thank my sister for that ;):P)
> when you like someone very very much.
> its giving.

and some people who i have asked on msn.
> unconditional, forgiving, accepting, forgetting, addaptable, forever.
> theres 4 types... but generally I'd describe it as a feeling of care for another, a basic human connection.
> love is something you do, for something/one else. like DC Talks says, Love is a verb.
> to show love for someone is when work is required or courage is shown.
> something that can't be described, but you know you like it, and it would brighten up any soul.

and my own definition of love.
> love is - where you want the best for someone else and you put them before yourself.
its a decision, a choice. it involves sacrifice. and lots of mushyness!

ofcourse, thats not the entire definition of love. but to give that, i would talk a lot more and my mind is slowly stopping thinking proper...
