naughty sam....
*smiles* so im breaking one of the rules in my house. im on the computer on sunday. shock, and horror...
im here, listening to the Spice Girls, eating rather spicey fried rice (thanks to the chilli flakes in it) and blogging.
mmm.... had a good cry last night. didnt really accomplish anything, except for making me all red and puffy. i tell you, only some people have the complexion to pull off a good cry, and im not one of them...
but hey...
6 hours of sleep was not enough. i woke this morning and just wanted to go back to sleep.
but no, i got up, was good, and went to church.
i wondered why i went to church, i mean. i didnt have to. i could have slept in. what makes me go to church? the people, do i feel spiritually fed there, or do i go out of compulsion and tradition?
i think perhaps more of the latter ones.
dont get me wrong, i love my church, even with all its faults. but i have become so critical of it.
sometimes i wish i could just go back to my ignorant self at the start of the year...
but no, i dont think i would even if i could.
but that was off topic. i was going to tell you about yesterday.
i was planning for a rather lonely, computer centred day, when bec asked if i wanted to spend the afternoon with her. i was happy to oblige...
we spent the rest of the day basically talking. only bec and i were at her house.
from scars, to guys, to chivalry, to fun girly things, to formal dresses, to friends, to future...
a bit of everything.... no structure... loosely linked topics...
it was nice.... *smiles*
must still find out what exactly chivalry is...
*goes off to find out*
according to one person "giving girls the honour and respect they deserve..."
i like that...
or the dictionary says, "The qualities idealised by knighthood, such as bravery, courtesy, honor, and gallantry toward women"...
err yes...
bored....
