Miss-ables
my feet are cold. the fact that i dont have any socks on might be adding to that, but hey. thats just stateing the obvious.
there is a northerly wind, which perhaps is why im getting a tad confused about the weather. all the tree's are making northerly wind noises, and it makes me remember summer days with warm winds. except its winter, and still quite cold outside.
infact, it was very very cold this morning getting up for work. but, some how i managed. i havent worked for a few weeks, and my arms were beginning to protest by the time i got home.
yesterday i went to my first ever football match. collingwood vs st kilda. and somehow we were sitting at the st kilda end. unfortunatly collingwood decided that they didnt want to play fooball, and so sucked muchly, even though there was some early promise with three or so straight goals in the first 10 minutes of the match. the saints supporters around me where happy, and i guess, by how the pies played, they didnt deserve to win.
i was almost in tears in church yesterday morning. there was a perticular guy i was missing incredibly and was getting very insecure about the whole deal. its very odd thinking that im not single any more, as it needs a change of thinking that i have been doing for so long. its harder when there are people who are very close to me who dont think its a good idea, and all i want is their support and encouragement, as well as their wisdom and friendship.
saturday night included a singing recital to raise money for the oak tree foundation. the fact that i knew most of the people singing only made it better. the notables were definatly Gabi, Hannie (even though the italian one was a bit 'pear shaped' you still did a brilliant job!), and my dear own cousin (okay, so technically third cousin :P) Tiffany who has stunning control of her voice.
the whole reason why i went originally was the fact that i needed to talk with bec, and that happened to be the only time of doing so.
and im a bit over people constantly telling me to be careful. i love the fact that they care enough about me to caution me, and dont want me to get hurt, but its just one of those phrases im getting sick of hearing...
Mm precious girl..you have said that you want your friends to support and encourage you, and to give you their wisdom as well.
Sweetie...this is what they are doing.
It may not be what you want to hear...but that doesn't make it not being a good friend, you know?
I don't know you, or the boy well enough to say a single thing.
But what I DO know, is that your friends love you dearly, and only have YOU and your well being in mind when they speak their hearts to you.
I feel for you so much. And so I shall continue praying :)
You are a blessing xoxo
