Happiness.

thursday.
a truely enjoyable day.

woke up nervous, as always. but when i arrived at the bus stop, who do i find sitting there, but bec! in her lovely Dymocks uniform. it was nice not catching the bus by myself, becuase that generally lets my mind wander, and i get more nervous. so the trip to ringwood is lovely.

bec goes off to work, and i go catch my train. the trip is uneventful.

i am not sitting in a window seat, but i manage to spy out the window at the right time. i see my cool graffiti (which i had noticed before) of "Happiness is in your kindness".
i also get a message saying that Trav will be late. im cool with that, knowing how many times i've been late meeting up wth people (not my fault!). my nerves had left me on the bus ride, and i was keeping them away by singing songs. half songs to God that i didnt quite remember all the words to. quietly whispering them on the train, looking out the window. it managed to work...

arrive at flinders street. buy some juice, at becs suggestion. and sit in the sun on the steps. i go to lean my head back and it hits something. sunflowers. i love them.
they arent my favourite flower, but i do like them.
they are giving out free water with a magazine on the labeling. this is amusing to me.

Trav arrives finally, and we wander off up flinders street.
what follows is a day of walking, talking, eating, sitting, laughing (i think i did most of that).
the yarra is nice to sit by...

definatly a good day.

hanging out with friends is something which i really enjoy. and this week has let me hang with yits friends, school friends, gush friends, and this arvo i get to hang with church friends.
i love my friends, and im glad i know them. sometimes i need to say, and show that more often.

oh, and for the record. i am happy. my woe's of last week seem insignificant and silly. i just need to remember to keep on going back to God...
