Thanks

each morning of this week we had leaders devotions. one part of that was to be thankful for something. it started off at the start of the week being "thanks for the sunshine" "thanks for the rain" but then it got to be more child oriented. here are some thanks from me.

Maddy and Holly. their wonderful caring selves. asking me "how are you". they are truely beautiful. grow them and encouage them.

Nick playing with my hair. got me through Tuesday. gentle fingers softy working through my hair. cheered my day. small acts sometimes make big impacts.

Lachie (lachlan) and Nathan. sitting and chucking sticks with them. talking about nothing in particular. (both in yr 6. lachie has these really cool dreds... actually look good on him! he is rather cute actually... nath was freindly. let me talk to him.) it was just good.

Marcus and Amber. (brother and sister, hes younger. year 4 this year.) in the canteen line Amber asking him to buy her something. she was about to give him money when he said "no, its ok, ive got it". i thought that was so sweet. i just went aww! thats why ive always wanted a brother. some one to look out for me like that, no strings attatched. no need to pay back later or anything. something which to me is hard from non family...

Shell and her just being nice to people, and helping and encouaging them, dispite the rough facade.

fun and laughs with leaders. relaxing with some of the guy leaders, and some of the older girl leaders. good times. good times.

having my girls excited about me praying for them. they were all pissing each other off, talking and wanting to sleep. so i asked them if it was ok if i could pray for them. i got back several very excited yes's! it was scarey, but good.

having madelyn ask in small group time how do we know if God is real or not... this stunned me! it kinda clicked together why she wasnt very involved in small group time. this was thursday.

there were lots more little things, but i cant remember most of them. so here are the ones that i journalled down on wednesday, and a few more that i added. *smiles*
