Kidz...
hello my dearly loved avid blog readers.. who ever you are :).
got home today from Holiday Club Camp. HCC is a week long camp for the community kids (ie, non my church kidz), year 4, 5, and 6. its not like we're preaching at them all week. its called incarnational mission... if you dont know what that is, go look it up...
i am really stuffed. it is a really full on week for us leaders. there were about 55 kids there, and about 18 leaders. i had a group of 7 girls in my small group. we were the colour orange. Amber, Charlotte, Melissa, Emily (all year 6), Zoie (year 5), Veida and Madelyn (both year 6). i had Amber, Charlie and Mel in my group last year, and i knew the others apart from Zoie. they were good girls, mostly.
Veida is very bubbly. she is small and blonde and talks a lot. could also be called a little obnoxious.
Madelyn was rather queit, and she had these looks that could kill, but she was also not bad. she listened when i told her to do stuff.
Zoie was adorable. short, kinda chubby, beautiful round brown eyes and lovely brown hair. she was gorgeous. she was also really nice, helped me even when i didnt ask her too. a really beautiful girl.
Emily takes a bit to get used to. youngest of four, with the others being boys shes a little rough. not very girly. but she is good enough. she also listened when i asked her something.
Mel. the most beautiful hair. blonde with ringlets. Melissa is wonderful. kinda quiet, with a beautiful smile. she had conjuntavitus this week.
Charlie. friend of Mel and Amber. so wonderful. but shes also sensitive. cried most nights becuase she wanted to sleep. but a really nice girl and talked to me.
Amber. i adore Amber. shes sporty, outgoing, a little bossy, can talk to both girls and guys (has a little bro called Marcus who i also happen to adore) and has a lovely smile. i would call her a friend.
but there were also some kids who werent in my group who i shall tell you about.
Maddy and Holly. cousins. hardly ever seen apart. both really sweet, genuinly nice girls. it was Holly's careing nature and Maddys friendlyness that got me through one of the days. both year 4. i love both of them.
Renee. only really talked to her on thursday. tall, year 6, hangs out with the popular girls. but she is really nice. encourageing. and very friendly. theres this game at Oasis where you have to knock the balls off this table thing, and we had a good win/loss ratio between us. she was really good at it. gentle.
Kristy. a kidz klub girl. year 4. she is very small. she has this huge smile though. i loved her hugs. calls me Sammy... (^_^)!
Shell (michelle). year 6. she was one of the only people i remember from my first HCC three years ago when she was in year 4. she hangs out with the popular girls. she is tall and sporty, swears a little, is rather loud and is rough around the girly girls. however, she is also really loving, encouraging, will do things for others, and is a genuinly good person. she is really wonderful. she also lives down my road somewhere. she has a rough exterior, but inside she is so sweet.
Nick. little nick. year 6. also one i remember from my first HCC. short, two older sisters. younger brother. his grandpa just died on the weekend. i would keep nick if i could. he had a bit more attitude this year. he has always been good for me, but maybe thats becuase i love him so much that i let him get away with stuff. some of the male leaders dont let him get away with stuff and so they dont like him becuase he doesnt behave for them. nick is very energetic, can spin around and not get dizzy. he has attitude and likes getting his own way. he is also rather affectionate. we walked around the oval today with my arm around his shoulders. i told you. i would keep him if i could.
Chantelle. was going to be in my group, but changed to be with one of her friends. year 6. not one of the popular girls. tall, reaching puberty. i would have also kept her. she was nice. unless you werent nice to her, then she could be bitchy. but another really nice girl, with a lovely smile and warm hugs. considerate.
Grace. beautiful orange hair. another one of the kids that i remembered from my first year. she can also be bitchy and uncontrolable. but she is also really caring, rather mischevious, and is also considerate.
mm... thats all that really touched me over the past week. i love the rest, and they are all great, but it would take forever to write about them all.
