Gush is gone. i honestly didnt think i would get so upset about it. i mean, im going to the new boards so its not like its really goodbye.. well, in some ways it is.
honestly. i was thinking last night, while arting, about what would have happened if i haddnt joined Gush. i think of all those wonderful people who i dare to call my friends now. and tears come to my eyes thinking about what could have happened.
but it didnt, i did join, and now its gone.
but the people are still around...
uni was alright yesterday. i was actually interested, taking down pages of notes in two of my lectures. yes, i actually went to my stats lecture last night (*cheers*) and it wasnt that bad. my media lecture we just watched some movie, (wag the dog) and i got the genenal gist, and left before it ended in favour of going home...
i dont think ive talked about my uni friends much, have i?
i used to hang out with Elif a lot, but i dont really see her any more, as she doesnt come to a lot of the morning lectures any more.
i now hang out with Kate and Sally. they are in most of my classes. both socio, both psych, and my stats lecture.
kate is about 21ish. shes really nice. has a 3 year old son. lives on the other side of mt dandenong.
sally is 24, and shes pregnant. she has that glowing look at them moment, and is showing. she reminds me of my best friend jess in a lot of ways. and thats pretty cool.
both are really rather nice, and, i dont know, i like hanging out with them...
then theirs laura. shes also in both socio, and my media lecture. shes pretty cool too. from cranbourne, she has been to my house a couple times. she drops me off mondays, and tuesdays. shes 19ish, and we get on well too...
i was walking around the tafe part of uni yesterday, and found the pamphlet tree. i looked through it, and took some of them.
one was an arts one, at my uni! i looked over it, its at tafe, a diploma of visual arts. im excited!
i just need to be proactive and find out more info.
studying art would be really, really fun, even if it would be expensive (all the materials). im not really into computer, or new media art. or the design side, but normal traditional mediums of art, i like... err, cause i havent ever really been taught, or used the computer to make art...
anyway, its just one option... but art would be so cool!
I know what you mean about gush closing. I cried and cried and cried. I tried to talk to people that didnt seem to understand. I think I've upset Paul! Wasnt a good night.
But as for art, I think that'd be good! They do visual arts at my uni too, hint hint
It is sad that Gush as we knew it is gone.. At least we'll be able to meet some new people on the new forum.
