I'm Living For

There, I read it three times. "Follow the Lord, all His commandments, and He will allow you to prosper in the land He has chosen" (in Deuteronomy, in 2 Kings, in Job).

Some how this is comforting. When I am open, and listening to Him, i can understand a little of what He is saying to me. cryptic for the rest of you, i am sure. but I've been praying a little over some things.

oh, make that four times, just read it in Proverbs.

Went to the city today to hang out with Dawn. getting there was an adventure in itself, but i was happy. (train to Blackburn, bus to Box Hill, signals down after Camberwell, so bus from Box Hill to Burnley, then train to Spencer Street.)
we shopped (spent more money), ate in Starbucks, and went to Elizabeth street.
visited Minotaur, and bought the three remaining Nausicaa manga (which i couldn't get at Borders. only to discover that they are indeed cheaper at Minotaur than at the other... score).
visited the smoothie shop (a discovery shared by Jess C, which i try and visit each trip to the city) and then back to Spencer Street to wait for Dawns train.

and i got home, relatively uneventful...
