a memory relived

her name is jess. she is one of my closest friends. when i think of her, i have mixed feelings. she made me laugh so much, but she also caused a few of my tears.
i love her dearly, and im really glad i know her. to lose that friendship would be like cutting a chunk of my heart out, with a blunt knife.

i almost lost that friendship. after 6 years i almost threw it all away. i still regret that, and yet i still make the same mistakes.

i phoned her this afternoon. the first time i had called her in a very long time (generally it is her calling me). i can thankfully say, we have both grown up.

when i think of middle school i think of my time in relation to jess. we went everywhere together. did everything together. we were insepperatable. not many people liked jess, so i was associated with that.
by the end of year 12, i was sick of everyone seeing us as the one. i did love jess, but i wanted to be seen as my own person.

<---- from our year 11 formal. i was 15, she 17. we have both lost weight =p!
on the other hand, i loved that dress i was wearing... its too big for me to wear now, oh well...

ahh mr.d's shonky photography :P

my that was an interesting night. You looked fantastic samantha... did you ever get that photo I took of you? I think it was probably the nicest one I took that entire evening.

my dress (from that formal) fits me now better than it did then I think... although don't think somehow that I'll ever wear it again.

hey sam, i understand what it would be like to cut your heart open with a blunt knife, u know how i feel and why i feel this way. Hold onto your friendships like nothing else, friends are important in our lives.
