the day that was
i think im an introverted extrovert...
i was on the train yesterday, with three friends, and one of them starts to talk about another person we all knew.
she was, in my mind, bitching about her, and i was uncomfortable. i semi voiced my uncertianty if we should be talking about it, but i was brushed off and the conversation continued.
****
i sat and watched the horror before my eyes. i was catured by it, immersed into its world. the tears slid down my cheeks and i didnt stop them. i felt pain. it didnt dissapate after the lights came on, and i walked in a sad stupor.
****
sitting in my seat, the stage looked so close. i felt i could have thrown the chocolate i was eating down onto it. the boys had gotten dressed up, and after my original uncomfortableness, returned to act like myself. or, as myself as i could have being rather tired.
i laughed, i slept, i cried, i cheered, i applauded, i criticised, i was i awe.
****
they walked before me. the night air was cool, and i clutched myself stilling the shivering.
i felt weary, but walking was better than nothing. the distance grew, and i knew i should hurry to catch them. but they didnt slow to be with me either.
in the darkness the tears came to my eyes, and i wiped them furiously away.
irrational throughts filled my mind, and i didnt chase them away.
****
a bunch of girls screamed. i laughed, breaking the tired sorrow that had come apon me.
they moved again, the more people took a second glace as they walked past.
the two boys posed again, and an old woman doubled her pace.
i laughed.
****
the train arrived, and the song was still stuck in my head. i hummed it a bit more, and sat down. dark objects flashed past, and the laughter came thick and strong. red eyes met my own, and i knew that my own were tired looking as well. suprisingly i began to wake up. the prospect of bed was appealing, and the train rushed towards it.
****
i crawled into my sleeping bag, and snuggled down. out went the light, and i closed my eyes. sleep, glorious sleep. i have reached you finally...
What's the difference between an introverted extrovert and an extroverted introvert?
Seriously though, I am constantly in awe at your willingness to convey your raw emotions on this blog. Most wouldn't do it, but you do. So, good on ya.
an extroverted introvert is still an introvert, they just enjoy being around people more and are a bit more outgoing.
and introverted extrovert is someone who is tired by extroverts :P. someone who enjoys beiong around people, just not that many...
oh gosh.. how confusing :P
