the events of a tireing sunday

there was a brilliant moon last night.
i spied it in the darkess travelling home.
big, orange and bright.
the sort of autumn moon you only hear about.
it topped off a lovely day.

bec and i had a suprise happening. we were going to go to essendon baps to hear paul talk, and not let him know until we arrived.

i went down to becs house after lunch yesterday. she actually came to my house on her way down, and, becuase my music was on really loud, walked in. i had just finished the dishes.

her dad was looking at a car for her, and she was like, yup, get it. unfortunatly, it then turned out she would have to be going there that night, at 7, to pick up the car. thus ruining our plans.
i was dissapointed, but as there was nothing i could do, i tried to get over it.

bec and i watched the motorcycle diaries. about che guevera. i have limited knowledge of this communist argentinian, so it was a cool movie to watch. subtitled.

then a proposition came up. i thought for a few moments, with bec looking at me as to what i would do.
i called my dad. i asked if he could drive me there, and he agreed.

not only was i shocked about that, but was also shocked about the fact he didnt complain or questiuon why we were going as he usualy does.

you all know quality time is my primary love language, and so the hour travel there (and back) it was nice to just be in close vacinity to my dad.
i get annoyed at him a lot, but i do love him. i just dont say that.

we arrived at 6:30. waited around for a bit, and went in.
i, ofcourse as ever, was nervous.
and this dear old man came up and asked why i was there, and what i was nervous about.
thats when i saw paul, so i didnt really respond. i gave paul the note bec had written for him (explaining why she wasnt there) and i went back to sit with my dad.

the people were friendly, but i still felt like an outsider.

finally people who i knew arrived, and even though one didnt want to talk to me (for various reasons im not too sure about), it was nice to see familiar faces.

sat with Trav, who kept me company. which was rather nice.

when paul got up to talk, he seemed a little nervous. or something. the topic was sex. not an easy topic for anyone. he managed to do well, even if he wasnt as eloquent as he could have been. i took some stuff away from it, which is, i guess, the whole point hey...

during communion i felt a great sadness overcome me about a certian friendship. i asked god what i could do, then realised there was nothing that i could do. only he could. only god can change a persons heart. so i gave it to him, and prayed for this friend.

i had to leave pretty much straight away, which was a little sad, cause i would have loved to talked to people, being the extrovert that i am. but oh well...

got home, had zuichinni soup (actually really yummy), and went to bed. i almost fell asleep with my lamp on, but remembered to turn it off last minute. i was tired...

woke this morning happy. for some obscure reason, being up at 7am...

uni was majorly boring. my lecture for soc' i wrote a letter in, and finished it. and then i was being indescisive as to who i would write the next one too..

so, got anyone in mind?

I was going to say me.. but that would take away any surprise.
