thankfulness

okay.
normally i don't do these meme things, but because this ones on thankfullness, and i need to be reminded to be thankful of things of late, i thought i would oblige.

(because bec told me to)

1) all the different ways God makes me smile. lemon thyme and mint. fluffy clouds. cats who follow me down the street.
2) steve and everything to do with him.
3) excellent books to read on long bus trips. just finished the earthsea quintet by ursula le guin. wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
4) the fact i have a steady job, great manager, the fact i have a roof over my head, my health, food to eat, a place to rest and all the other wonderful luxuries i have that i completely take for granted.
5) skirt weather. daylight savings. long relaxing evenings with those i love.


and i wont tag anyone.




also, is it possible to move out of home on approx $400 a week?

short answer YES.

I am doing this. However you need to find yourself a very good deal - ie. know someone or rent from someone you know. Because startup fees such as paying a bond are huge and you'll have to factor in all the other things like electricity/water/petrol/phone/food.
Ask around. Esp if anyone has a 'house' or flat behind their house or even if you can board with someone. OR find at least 2 other people to share 'real rent' and hope one of them is willing to deal with inital costs.
