Godspeed
i first introduced you to Norma a few months ago, and on Saturday i had the great pleasure of catching the bus to Ringwood with her. it was an hour spent very well (we were early for the bus, and hung out a little after we arrived as well, before i had to go off and get ready for work).
she is an excellent lady, and it was great getting to know her, her family, and how Mount Evelyn used to be.
i have been taking some chaste tree tablets (Vitax) but they seem to be having the opposite effect on me. chaste tree berries are supposed to level out a woman's hormones and make her less emotional, and help with the problems associated with PMT. however, when i take them i am even more emotional and grumpy on that day.
i am taking a smaller dose of iron tablets now, and they seem to still be working fine.
and its interesting how God whacks us on the head with things when we aren't expecting them, but really are needing them.
like last night i was reading 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a.
"
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails."
it reminded me that i will never stop learning with good and pleasing love is. i cannot remain stationary and static. i have to keep changing, seeking and growing.
i just have to keep being reminded of that...
