(*fin)

a couple people have commented to me that i don't seem to blog nearly as much any more... nor is it as personal and open as it once was. and, well, they are right.

i guess i am questioning why it is that i blog. well, this blog anyway. is it just another online diary or journal? originally blogs were seen with such utopian abandon... the way of the future... journalism that isn't influenced by the mass media! but now the craze has swept through the western world, and most blogs are no more than simply an online diary. a place to 'dump your thoughts'. and while that, i guess, isnt bad, i have been wondering why i do it.

and i guess i haven't felt all that enthused to let a bunch of strangers read about my life. i mean, sure i could have said that Steve was here the weekend just gone, i went to the ANZAC day football match with Mark and Collingwood won, i work 2-3 full days a week, had a throat infection, got a mole removed, dont have cancer and did three major essays in a week and a half... but if you have talked to me at all, i'm sure i would have mentioned something along those lines.

and most of the stuff i have been thinking over, musing over even, has been some pretty personal stuff. i really love my male friends for talking to... but i still really wish i had a good female friend i could talk with things about. to get things from a chick's perspective...

anyway, while this blog isn't going on a hiatus, its not going to be updated with a lot of personal info... and i guess if you actually want to know whats been going on, you might just have to talk to me.

Let's go into the city and eat chocolate and get smoothies again some time.

haha thats cool. Kind of an ironic blog. I guess you'll have to ask my why I think this ;-)
