"August in Bethany"

at kids klub this term we are looking at what it means to be a christian. and we have been getting in people from the church who didnt grow up in christian homes, but who are now christians.
the past two have been ladies from church, both in their 40's. and something that has really srtuck me about each of their stories is that they had a really good christian friend when they were little. and it was because of that friend that they went to church.
i wonder, i wonder how much good we do at kids klub. but hearing stuff like that gives me some hope.
i know that God can work through all things, and thaty He is the one calling people and drawing them to Him, and we are just helpers in that.

some of the kids really struggle with understanding about God. if God was made from nothing, then he cant be real, cause he is nothing, is what one of the girls told me today. she said she didnt really beliueve in God, but her older sister who also comes to KK, does believe in him.

some of the kids really think about things and have so many questions about God, Jesus, and christianity. some are really bizzar and i would never think of that. i admit i dont do too well at answering them...

i really love kids klub. i have been there since last term year 12, in 2004. so for 2 years now. i have seen some of the kids grow up, and have seen them at other things. those who i know and love will be leaving soon. most are in grade 5 who i really remember. another year...
