Who has been home?

wow. well, my comouter is very very weird!
i am back, and all of my settings and favourites are back with me, like they had never gone away.

well, my weekend has got to have been one of the best weekends ive had in a very long time.

it all started on friday afternoon with bec and i going out for afternoon tea.
i was then home alone, and decided, instead of being on the computer all night, that i would watch a movie, curled up on the couch with my cat.
i was in such an oddly contentedly happy mood afterwards. it was probably becuase i was really tired, and happy. (FYI, i watched Howls Moving Castle).

saturday morning came around, and my original intention of having a lazy sleep in was shattered by the meer fact i woke up at 7:30 and dozed until 10. i prefer real sleeping to dozing anyday!

i was originally planning on just going on the computer to scan and upload a picture (here), but discovered that my computer really didnt like me. so i combatted with that for a while, and finally gave up. showered and got dad to drop me off at the station.
to eastland, to eastland i went, with the intention of needing to buy jess a baby shower gift (yes, im getting to that!).
a night light. i walked around everywhere trying to find one, and finally the nice lady at the Pumpkin Patch sent me in the right direction. Big W i found one.
i think i was pretty silly that day shopping, and i really should have eaten something, becuase by the time i was going home (with 3 pairs of socks, expensive shampoo and conditioner, 2 DVD's, a night light, blank CD covers, some L/P plates and an iced chai tea latte) i was relatively broke. (silly sam, you are supposed to be saving for a camera). im such an impulsive buyer at times...

i basically got home, was about half way through one of the movies, when bec phones me up complaining about being bored. so we complain on the phone for a while, until i can get back on the computer, and then we complain there.
finally, bec comes up with the intention of going to get a movie and watching it when Ana phones.

so we go to Ana's instead. and have a wonderful night of movie watching (in her shoes, and dinner rush) and pizza eating. beautiful and relaxed!
home and early(ish) to bed.

sunday morning comes around, and im tired again. woke up early and couldnt get back to sleep. or more importantly. i was tossing and turning for ages.
church was alright. my butt was rather sore thanks to the hard wooden pew.
we had lords supper and i tried to think about why i take part, but my mind refused to budge.

got home at midday, and sat in my room and read through my YITS spooky box.
now, a spooky box was a term coined from the book "finding grace" which we had to read in year 11. and its basically a box, or something that hold a whole bunch of personal memories, letters, things which make sense to you, and cause you to remember things.
and then i had the silly idea of reading through all my old journals.

i started with my last one. the one i had before the one i have now. was around my Soul Survivor time.
and i realised that so many of the same things i was wondering about, asking god about then, i was still doing it now.
like wanting to be more committed to him, to gain some passion, some oomph. to look to him for my validation and love, and not guys... makes me wonder how much i really want it, if im not doing anything about it...

then was off to jess's baby shower. jess being my best friend, she having a little baby girl in 5 weeks time. she looked all pregnant, and was glowing. true, the circumstances could have been better, but gosh, she looked so happy...
everything was pink!

we got home eventually, and i had just sat down and started writing a letter, when all of a sudden, Ana bursts into my room and asks if i want to go with them to some concert that night. i was like, err, sure!
so off i went again.
to vinyard, and then to maccas, and then to TLC for one of old school friends cousins cd launch.
and my, i had a really good time!
met (the tall and handsome) geoff. *laughs*

infact, i think i laughed too much... i got the sore cheeks thing...

got home at middnight. and this blog is boring, so i'll end it here :P

It was a really fun night last night. And I'm dreadfully sorry if we made you laugh too much

The tall and good looking Geoff
