this day

had prayer and prophecy morning this morning. at tabor, for graduation thingy.

standing, singing 'worship' songs, back at tabor, was such a strange thing.
i loved tabor, i love tabor. the atmosphere is wonderful. its like a family, not a tertary institution.
maybe i'll go back to tabor. the thought definatly appeals to me.
however, i realised as i was standing there singing, that i need to face my fears, and get out of my comfort zones, and tabor is a comfort zone.

anyway. we went off in little groups, according to the number we got, and got sat in the middle and prayed for. or had some word spoken "from the lord"... or similar.

i remember the general gist of what was said for me, even though i got jane to scibe so i could go get it and re read it, i wont... not yet anyway.

a lot of stuff to do with creativity. im unsure as to whether this is due to me drawing while the others were getting prayed for, or because i drew jacqui a picture and gave it to her.
but that was kinda cool...
and something about experiencing "the fathers" love, becuase i havent for a while...

after that, we all went off to some place, not conference... umm.. *tries to remember word*... meh, it starts with a c, and you all know what im talking about anyway.
anyway, we went to this place for lunch. and it was good.
hanging out at the end there was even better though. just a few of us.
Rowan, Bec, Jess V, Katie, Alice, Darryn and I. just sitting and talking.

when we got into the car i felt so utterly drained.
i was ready to colapse and sleep, or something.
it wasnt that i wanted to be away from people, but i just felt happy to sit there in their company and not participate.

walked around croydon for a little while, cause bec had to pick up some slides she took (all which worked out really really well. some are fantastic!).
went to the cool chic dress shop. tried on some dresses. didnt like any. made bec try on an utterly hideous dress, green, no shape, off the shoulder. i was wearing the same one, and knew it looked terrible. it was funny. :P

and we went down to the good op shop (croydon has several), and i found myself a box.
this box is very cool.
its old, its brown, its round, it has a handle. its capacity would be about 2ish litres.
i have some theories about what it could be.
a hat box is ruled out, not big enough.
my dad says a handbag... i dont think so.
maybe a medicine carrier or something, i dont know.
anyway, its really cool, and i like it!

we go back to becs house, via video ezy to get a movie. im still dead tired. we get the constant gardener... never heard of it before.

dinner at becs house.

we watch the movie. its really cool. really emotional, i found. very well shot. about big drug companies, and some people trying to do something about it.
in africa, testing the drugs on the general population becuase their lives are so cheap.

it makes me wonder if thats whats really going on, or if its just fictional.
there would have to be some truth to it.

i think that if i really want a cultrue shock, i should go to a third world country.
take me there someday, someone. please?

sat and talked (ok, technically layed and talked) with bec after the movie finished. i began to feel rather awake again. alive.

im discovering more and more about my personality.
extroverts tire me out. i am definatly an extrovert, theirs no denying it.
but i prefer to hang out with introverts, or even just one on one, and i feel so alive, awake. :P
if that makes sense...

maybe im just weird.

i graduate tomorrow.
how exciting...

and people, remind me to finish my post called "left of centre" about being left wing, and explaining what that is as opposed to right wing...

Quote: "extroverts tire me out. i am definatly an extrovert, theirs no denying it.

I understand that oh, so well. I would say i'm similar. Having toooooo much exposure to losts of load people closes me off, and i dont like that. So i like being with intro, the od extro makes life a little interesting though :P

is there anything writen on the box?
im an extrovert and i find being around anyone long enough will make you tired, i would say more but im still tried, going away is much more tiring than people
