No Smiles

So I am back in Melbourne. sunny ole Melbourne.
but yet something in me still longs to be back in Perth.
I love Perth. the atmosphere, the weather, the people.
Steves friends are all wonderful. they have accepted me and offered me friendship as well.
One day I will be lost to the West. the sun setting into the ocean. even being two hours behind everyone else doesn't phase me.


But here i am in Melbourne.
where work has been turned upside down and no one is happy.
the new manager, while i was on holidays, changed everyones rosters and hours, and, apparently, i wasn't even on the original roster. so most people at work (myself included) just don't care any more. the bare minimum. as he says (in a joking but not really joking kind of way) "its a smile free zone now. no smiling".
